I used the Cheesecloth background stamp, the shell from the Sara England Emerging Crab set, and "Simplify" from the Rummage Bin Primitive Beginnings set. All the stamps are CHF. It was a fun challenge. </div>

This is from their sketch #179 challenge. <a href="http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-179/">http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-179/</a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3hqnagkhXtU/Udd5vIMayKI/AAAAAAAAA44/EHgRxY_y2Qg/s1600/OWH+sketch+%23179.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3hqnagkhXtU/Udd5vIMayKI/AAAAAAAAA44/EHgRxY_y2Qg/s320/OWH+sketch+%23179.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
How fun is this bear and girl image from Birdie Brown's digital images on Etsy. <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/BirdieBrown">http://www.etsy.com/shop/BirdieBrown</a> I added the text before printing the black and white image.<br />
Used Prismacolor pencils in yummy brown and pink. Pulled out one of my earliest dies from Cuttlebug for the 'mod' flowers and raided my old packets of gold sequins. It was a fun project.Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-85756378136180947922013-06-10T18:44:00.001-07:002013-06-10T18:44:37.157-07:00I bought a new toy, a floral heart die from Impression Obsession. This just happens to fit in with their current challenge- "blooming where they're planted". <a href="http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/">http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/</a> This is my first time trying one of their challenges and I hope I got it right.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uHOiw9X_If8/UbaA0rM10xI/AAAAAAAAA4k/dO3A1PuRDT4/s1600/bloom+Impression+Obsession+2_edited-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uHOiw9X_If8/UbaA0rM10xI/AAAAAAAAA4k/dO3A1PuRDT4/s320/bloom+Impression+Obsession+2_edited-1.jpg" width="261" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Q11rjZa6_A8/UbZ6opbQRXI/AAAAAAAAA4E/HO9J9s7Z3ls/s1600/bloom+Impression+Obsession+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a> </div>
The idea of using die cuts as a stencil occurred to me when planning my card. I did that by cutting the floral hearts from Reynolds Freezer Wrap which is plain paper on one side and plastic on the other. Once cut I ironed the die cuts onto the white cardstock and sponged on Distress inks. The wrap needs to be rewarmed with the iron in order to peal it back off. The focal heart is one of the stencils adhered to a cut green heart and embellished with punched hearts, Viva Pearl Pen, and sequins. The printed ribbon tied it all together. <br />

<div class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Michael Strong's challenge to the enjoyMichaelStrongStamps yahoo list:</span></div>
<div class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Our card making challenge is a little different this
month. There is an old standard called "September Song" composed by
Kurt Weill in 1938. It's a wistful almost sad song. Here are the words:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">"Oh, it's a long, long while from May to December
But the days grow short when you reach September When the autumn weather turns
the leaves to flame One hasn't got time for the waiting game<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Oh, the days dwindle down to a precious few September,
November And these few precious days I'll spend with you These precious days
I'll spend with you"<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
<o:p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></o:p></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Your challenge this month is to express any part of this
song in a visual composition. It's you choice, pick any part of the song for
your inspiration. Colors and images are also up to you. It is not necessary to
use a MSRS. "</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The stamped oval image is one of Michael's stamps. The rest are die cuts and punches with Distress inks and copper embossed dots for texture and color.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In the enjoyMichaelStrongstamps Yahoo list we are doing a mingle. the challenge was to make the card with gold and sparkle and a Michael Strong stamp. It has been years since I last did one and this has been a blast. Lynda sent me this amazing card! She created this beautiful painted paper with some sort of mica powder and gold paint on a black background. If you have tried to photograph metallics and sparkle you already know I was not capable to capturing how this really looks. Still here is the best I could mange.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BY02H4ff33Y/UAsTt75p8uI/AAAAAAAAA3E/6IGrYQiOAoI/s1600/Lynda's+gold+&+sparkle+card+inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BY02H4ff33Y/UAsTt75p8uI/AAAAAAAAA3E/6IGrYQiOAoI/s320/Lynda's+gold+&+sparkle+card+inside.jpg" width="311" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Inside the card were these die cut butterflies made with the painted papers and a panel with Michael Strong's heart stamp (small version) as the focal point.</div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This month Michael gave us a digital image to use on our card and the challenge to use only black, gray and white. The red is just a paper on which I photographed the card for some contrast. The digital image is the central rectangular image on the card. You can find it here- <a href="http://strongstamps.blogspot.com/2012/05/may-card-making-challenge.html">http://strongstamps.blogspot.com/2012/05/may-card-making-challenge.html</a> I added some Spellbinders die cut circles, the sentiment Spellbinders ovals and the Sizzix heart eyelets. There are clear gems for bling. The sentiment is a Cornish Heritage Farms stamp. The gray printed paper circles are cut from envelope liners. I do love using those!</span>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-21606650892557354142012-05-11T17:03:00.001-07:002012-05-11T17:27:53.978-07:00Simple and masculine<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is my sketch card for May's enjoyMichaelStrongStamps group. My Easter card was selected for April's home page image and included with the honor was a new Michael Strong stamp, his Cloisonné Fleur De Lis set. I used the smaller of the stamps as the focal image on this card. Love how classic the image is! The printed background papers are actually wallpaper samples. They have just the right look to go with Michael's stamp.Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-79037663100134997302012-04-03T16:02:00.001-07:002012-04-03T16:09:22.308-07:00Easter is coming!<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z4YG1qQ5r_s/T3uB-p7gOyI/AAAAAAAAA1Y/sk0pWIJGyaI/s1600/Easter%2Beggs%2B1%2Bcard.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 297px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 391px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5727314264539020066" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z4YG1qQ5r_s/T3uB-p7gOyI/AAAAAAAAA1Y/sk0pWIJGyaI/s400/Easter%2Beggs%2B1%2Bcard.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div>The eggs and dish are created with Michael Strong stamps. Blue and yellow is one of my favorite combinations. The floral band across the card was created with an Outlines border stamp used twice, once on each side and black embossed. I'm still on a Twinkling H2O run so that is what I used along with a bit of white acrylic paint. The sentiment is a Stampendous sticker. Somehow I don't seem to use those very often this was a good opportunity.<br /><br />Lisa Silver's sketch for Outlines is square but I stretched it into a rectangle. You can see it here-<br /><br /><div><a href="http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/03/challenge-42-march-sketch-challenge.html">http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/03/challenge-42-march-sketch-challenge.html</a></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-28239158113774514402012-02-28T13:08:00.004-08:002012-02-28T13:20:40.931-08:00Outlines St. Patrick's Day challenge<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hICIejvrtGc/T01Dg1uJPtI/AAAAAAAAA1A/brLyvMhoeWY/s1600/Outlines%2BSt%2BPatrick%2527s%2BDay%2Bchallenge.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 312px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5714297733658525394" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hICIejvrtGc/T01Dg1uJPtI/AAAAAAAAA1A/brLyvMhoeWY/s400/Outlines%2BSt%2BPatrick%2527s%2BDay%2Bchallenge.jpg" /></a>Not being a sender of St. Patrick's Day card I had to think a bit about my stash of Outlines stamps to come up with something for this challenge. It isn't precisely a card for the holiday but I hope it is close enough! The shamrock is made from a heart stamps printed & embossed 4 times, painted with Twinkling H2Os, and trimmed out. I used the stem stamp that hasn't gotten much use over time. This was a good opportunity.<br /><br />The sentiment letters are die cut and the gold shamrocks are punched. The shamrock center is punched, dry embossed, sanded and inked with gold. I wanted a flatter card than using a button would give me so I made an embellishment instead. You can't tell in the photo but there are Gloss Gel gems on the shamrock leaves.<br /><br /><a href="http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-41-st-patricks-day.html">http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-41-st-patricks-day.html</a>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-45411357417401613512012-02-27T17:16:00.002-08:002012-02-27T17:23:30.386-08:00Stars & Stamps sketch #110<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7mdWbzR_bU/T0wrMOVoDqI/AAAAAAAAA0o/OMza0t8bxNY/s1600/S%2526S%2Bsketch%2B%2523110%2Bcard.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 313px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5713989516233543330" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D7mdWbzR_bU/T0wrMOVoDqI/AAAAAAAAA0o/OMza0t8bxNY/s400/S%2526S%2Bsketch%2B%2523110%2Bcard.jpg" /></a> Before Valentine's Day I had been playing with this cool stamp from Purple Onion Designs. Hadn't made a card with it but when I saw the sketch this week on the Stars and Stamps blog I knew right away I was going to use the panel I'd made. The ribbon and silk cording have been in my stash for ever. The faux heart buttons are thick watercolor paper die cut using the smallest Spellbinder heart die. Usually it takes me forever to make a new card but this one came together in a snap.<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-32639412114953485412012-02-24T16:00:00.002-08:002012-02-24T16:08:36.775-08:00Outlines' Make it Square challenge<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aWLyqSadizM/T0gkyg9G7fI/AAAAAAAAA0c/j1X9S0xIqY8/s1600/Outlines%2Bsquare%2Bcard%2Bchallenge.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 389px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712856577577774578" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-aWLyqSadizM/T0gkyg9G7fI/AAAAAAAAA0c/j1X9S0xIqY8/s400/Outlines%2Bsquare%2Bcard%2Bchallenge.jpg" /></a> It is unusual for me to make a square card although I love how they look. Mostly my cards are going to me mailed at the US first class rate and square cards are at a higher rate. Outlines' challenge gave me the excise to just go square anyway!<br /><br />I particularly love this stamp. It is fun to layer and can be made into a masculine card or a feminine one. I heat embossed the image 3 times. As I am on a roll with the Twinkling H2Os I colored with them. Cutting carefully I managed 5 layers popped up.<br /><br /><a href="http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-40-make-it-square.html">http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-40-make-it-square.html</a>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-61321874643141911732012-02-22T18:30:00.004-08:002012-02-22T18:40:24.748-08:00S&S sketch challenge #109<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nGTgvneSNf0/T0Wk6lOlDmI/AAAAAAAAA0Q/pcx24E_1Lsk/s1600/S%2526S%2Bsketch%2B%2523109.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 315px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5712153028721970786" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nGTgvneSNf0/T0Wk6lOlDmI/AAAAAAAAA0Q/pcx24E_1Lsk/s400/S%2526S%2Bsketch%2B%2523109.jpg" /></a>It has been ages since I did a sketch challenge for the Stars and Stripes blog. The circle stamp is a Michael Strong image layered over a square stamp from Outlines Stamps. Both were black embossed and colored with Twinkling H2O watercolors which are sparkly with mica. Love them. I had fun using bits from my ribbon stash which have been patiently waiting for me to play with them.<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-65326078311994555122012-02-17T15:52:00.000-08:002012-02-17T15:59:50.283-08:00Red, black and white challenge Outlines<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6XzwhbvuH4M/Tz7oeCIU42I/AAAAAAAAAzs/lv7It2ooyBs/s1600/Red%252C%2Bblack%2B%2526%2Bwhite%2Bchallenge%2BOutlines.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 308px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710256980217881442" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6XzwhbvuH4M/Tz7oeCIU42I/AAAAAAAAAzs/lv7It2ooyBs/s400/Red%252C%2Bblack%2B%2526%2Bwhite%2Bchallenge%2BOutlines.jpg" /></a> This week's challenge on the Outlines blog was to use the colors red, black and white. Of course I hope this card won't make anyone actually feel blue.... I used a couple of Outlines stamps on this one including just the tiny sentiment from a much bigger stamp. It always makes me feel like I've gotten away with something cool when I use a bit of a stamp in a way not expected.<br /><br />As is my obsession I used envelope liners on this card. You can't tell in this scan but the flower centers are stacked and layered. I used watercolor pencils, markers and embossing powder with touches of Gloss Gel. The card base has some Distress inking on it. <a href="http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/01/outlines-challenge-36-feeling-blue.html">http://outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/2012/01/outlines-challenge-36-feeling-blue.html</a><br /><br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-26075527918414833902011-09-29T21:06:00.000-07:002011-09-29T21:10:34.668-07:00A cuppa<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d5zYRPQyanU/ToVAfy7tAFI/AAAAAAAAAzA/h9H2EdXZCOM/s1600/MS%2Bsketch%2Bchallenge%2BSept.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 308px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657999421853204562" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d5zYRPQyanU/ToVAfy7tAFI/AAAAAAAAAzA/h9H2EdXZCOM/s400/MS%2Bsketch%2Bchallenge%2BSept.jpg" /></a> I got a new stamp set from Michael Strong Stamps. It is called Hetty's Coffee Cup. On this card I used the small cup for the background and the large cup for the focal image.<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-42831835801224856592011-09-08T20:58:00.000-07:002011-09-08T21:14:35.226-07:00Raspberry circles<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HhMoX93luFk/TmmQghWGiHI/AAAAAAAAAyw/e8b4uU5-mhc/s1600/raspberry%2Bcircles.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 285px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5650206095894284402" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HhMoX93luFk/TmmQghWGiHI/AAAAAAAAAyw/e8b4uU5-mhc/s400/raspberry%2Bcircles.jpg" /></a> I quite like this Chinese coin background stamp. It has tiny bats on the coins symbolizing happiness. The background was clear embossed on white cardstock and colored with beet root juice. Yes, really :-) The Cloisonne Circle stamp (Michael Strong) was white embossed over Twinkling H2Os. The circle was popped out over the die cut. It is a very simple card but the stamps are so interesting that it works in my opinion.<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-27466342611278925892011-09-07T18:49:00.000-07:002011-09-07T19:00:06.902-07:00Autumn LeavesIt is getting to be autumn here. The pistachio trees are starting to turn their amazing bright colors and the liquid amber trees are just getting color on the tip-top of them. They inspired me to make this card.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tQg3F1MLzaQ/TmgfbXm-c4I/AAAAAAAAAyo/2Nqt3A-Xf5k/s1600/autumn%2Bleaves.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 310px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5649800287590708098" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tQg3F1MLzaQ/TmgfbXm-c4I/AAAAAAAAAyo/2Nqt3A-Xf5k/s400/autumn%2Bleaves.jpg" /></a>The focal image is one of the Cloisonne Cameo stamps from Michael Strong. The leaves are all stamped with his Cloisonne Circle and die cut using Sizzix and Cuttlebug leaves. The stamps were white embossed and colored with Distress inks.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bVOC57L-Jm4/Tmgfbac-YEI/AAAAAAAAAyg/GIuaK7T8lNg/s1600/autumn%2Bleaves%2Bdie%2Bcut.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 362px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5649800288354066498" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bVOC57L-Jm4/Tmgfbac-YEI/AAAAAAAAAyg/GIuaK7T8lNg/s400/autumn%2Bleaves%2Bdie%2Bcut.jpg" /></a> I thought it would be fun to see the circles with the leaves cut out. Of course you can die cut the plain paper and then stamp. I just did it the other way on these.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-3002132805342054672011-09-06T21:54:00.001-07:002011-09-06T22:00:28.778-07:00A change of paletteIt was fun to work in a very different palette than I usually use.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_WueB_tci3I/Tmb5FyWwkRI/AAAAAAAAAyY/mF7aFsiGysM/s1600/peach%2Bcircles.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 360px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 335px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5649476660394758418" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_WueB_tci3I/Tmb5FyWwkRI/AAAAAAAAAyY/mF7aFsiGysM/s400/peach%2Bcircles.jpg" /></a> There is more peach to the background print and a bit more to the circles than I could catch with my camera. The 3 circles are Michael Strong stamps. The smaller circles are from his Cloisonne Medallion set and the large circle is his Cloisonne Circle. I mounted the large circle on black to match the look of the medallions. The stamped images are embossed in black EP. I love the grayish sage green of the base and background print. Sure wish I could find an ink pad that color!<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-28667241170417442612011-09-05T21:22:00.001-07:002011-09-05T21:32:47.149-07:00Nightingale song<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JsuS_q_In4o/TmWgLB7sZWI/AAAAAAAAAyA/auvQE0bHJTQ/s1600/nightingale%2Bsong2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 292px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 396px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5649097418963969378" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JsuS_q_In4o/TmWgLB7sZWI/AAAAAAAAAyA/auvQE0bHJTQ/s400/nightingale%2Bsong2.jpg" /></a> Here is a pretty simple card. The Michael Strong Cloisonne Circle was embossed in gold EP and colored using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. I mounted the circle on an acrylic gold painted die cut circle. I went on die cutting for the rust background shape and the line of gold dots. That old DCWV paper with the birds and flowers from the Far East stack still does it for me. Gold Leafing pen was used to edge the print paper layer and the base.<br /><br /><div></div>Marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00976845403961701822noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2066113036380194407.post-15075972517165842632011-09-04T20:34:00.000-07:002011-09-04T20:43:04.800-07:00Time to Celebrate<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t590-kXpUmQ/TmRDmQFxheI/AAAAAAAAAx4/NTSL0Uop3IU/s1600/time%2Bto%2Bcelebrate.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 283px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 396px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5648714157062718946" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t590-kXpUmQ/TmRDmQFxheI/AAAAAAAAAx4/NTSL0Uop3IU/s400/time%2Bto%2Bcelebrate.jpg" /></a> I've seen some great clock face cards of late and was inspired to make my own. The Roman numeral face is a digital image which I sized specifically to work with this Michael Strong Cloisonne Circle stamp. The sentiment is one of the dollar stamps I picked up at Joann's. <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">Both</span> the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Michael</span> Strong stamp and the sentiment were white embossed on black <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">cardstock</span>.
